Have you ever been here? This was my first time last week. I love waterfalls, but this, was a whole new level of waterfall.
Sure, I've seen pictures of the falls and scenes in movies, but none of that prepared me for the roar and majesty of the water in person.
Oddly enough, the roar of the water is peaceful even though it is loud.
When visiting Niagara Falls, I highly recommend paying the $3 to utilize the trolley. The trolley takes you around the park and you can hop on/off whenever you like.
Though most stops on the trolley are very busy, there's one stop that doesn't appear to be much, but it is worth it.
Get off the trolley at Three Sisters Island. Not many people got off at this stop, but we did and I'm glad that we did. The walking path leads you to the area of rapids before the falls and it is beautiful. I have posted some pictures to prove it.
Another must do at Niagara Falls is the Maid of the Mist, if you're not afraid to get wet.
My sister said that it was up to me where we stood and I said if we're going in, let's do it and make it a good one. We stood at a side rail. I didn't use the hood part of the poncho. My hair definitely showed that decision.
When the boat gets to the Mist part, it stays there for a few minutes. You don't have to stand in front of the Mist, but hey, why not.
My sister and I laughed at the whole situation and when we could talk again, she said that I looked like a drowned rat. It was very true. I did. Here's proof.

Overall, I would give Niagara Falls 4 out of 5 buckets of water. 🪣🪣🪣🪣
