October 2024:

And here we are again on the highway heading to our destination for a few days. Cincinnati, Ohio.

The main reason for this trip is to watch the Bengals v Eagles. Neither is my team, but scoping out major league ballparks is. The only NFL team stadium that I have visited is Arrowhead in Kansas City.

So, Paycor stadium has a lot to live up to compared to Arrowhead. I'm excited to see how Paycor stacks up.

I have been to Cincinnati now 3 times and I really enjoy visiting the city.

So, here is my review of Paycor Stadium. Home of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Ticket price: I have no idea how to comment on this one other than I did not have to pay for my ticket. Thank you to my daughter and son-in-law for that.

Parking: Parking was very random and difficult since we arrived much later than expected. We eventually found a parking spot, but it took a while to find one. Word of advice, get there earlier.

Concessions: Concession prices were pretty typical for ball park food. I got about 5 bags of popcorn and some bottles of water. I believe this was around $45 or so.

Stadium experience: It is always fun whenever a football team or any other team has a song or a chant. So, we got to hear the Bengals song and the Eagles chant/song. The energy in the stadium was really electric, especially from the Eagles fans. The helicopter flyover at the end of the National Anthem was quite an experience. Made me tear up a little.

A Little Friendly Team Rival: I really struggled with whether or not I should wear my Kansas City Chiefs shirt to this game. The Chiefs were not playing, but I thought it would be fun to stir the waters. I decided not to wear my Chiefs shirt, but that did not stop me from introducing myself as a Chiefs fan to those around me. It was also somewhat funny whenever the Eagles fans would do their chant and spell out the word E-A-G-L-E-S, I would say to them, wow you can spell in a very sarcastic tone followed by my introduction as a Chiefs fan. All in good fun folks. All in good fun. And believe me, they had plenty of jabs at me.

Overall Impression: The stadium is situated downtown alongside the Ohio River. Travel to the stadium is relatively easy and get there early to get a better parking spot. I would definitely go again and I really enjoyed the stadium experience.
